PM Kisan 19th Instalment Released
On February 24, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana at a special event in Bhagalpur, Bihar. Through this release, a total of Rs 22,000 crore has been directly transferred to the bank accounts of approximately 9.8 crore farmers across the country.
About PM Kisan Yojana
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana was initiated on February 24, 2019, with the aim of offering financial assistance to small and marginal farmer families. Under this scheme, farmers receive Rs 6,000 annually in three equal installments. This initiative aims to improve the financial stability of farmers and support farming.

How to Avail the PM Kisan Benefits
To benefit from the scheme, farmers must complete their e-KYC and link their Aadhaar number with their bank account. This helps prevent fraud and ensures the benefits reach the rightful recipients.
New Farmer Registration
Farmers who are not yet registered under the scheme can easily do so online. They will need their Aadhaar card, land records, bank account details, and mobile number. Farmers can visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in to register by selecting the “New Farmer Registration” option.
